As a part of Utah Prehistory Week, the event will share information about groups that inhabited the state thousands of years before written histories were recorded.
Volunteers will aid kids in making split twig figurines, pottery, cordage (prehistoric wristbands), petroglyph rubbing, or roc art stencil magnets.
The museum will also be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. showing off its dozens of airplanes and other exhibits.
