One dozen promising business managers from Davis County have enrolled in this 6-month program to learn leadership, organizational, and marketing skills from some of the most effective and successful business leaders in Utah.
In addition, they will compare management techniques, evaluate current economic trends, and review best-selling management books. They will also tour local businesses and government facilities.
The Davis Chamber Leadership Institute will meet once a month through next April. Scheduled highlights of the program include on-site presentations with the CEOs of Futura Industries, Davis Hospital, and the Davis Business Alliance.
The group will also tour Hill Air Force Base, Davis County Correctional Facility, and Capitol Hill. Their visit to the Capitol also features presentations from Davis County legislators and Governor Jon Huntsman.
