In fact, the need is acute for turkeys to accommodate those in need at Thanksgiving, next week, says Sharon Anderson, CEO of the Family Connection Center. It operates the FCC Food Bank and has 200 households on a waiting list because there weren’t enough turkeys on hand as of Tuesday afternoon.
Turkeys may be taken to the FCC Food Bank at 875 E. State Road 193 in Layton, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. For more information, call 771-4642.
