Board of Education meeting

FARMINGTON ó The Board of Education of the Davis School District will meet for a workshop at 3 p.m. to discuss a tentative annual budget and again at 5:30 p.m. for a meeting to discuss property purchases and construction bids, among other items. Lincoln to host thank-you dinner

Students head to Space Camp

HUNTSVILLE, ALA. ó Ten students from Davis School District will be going to space camp for 10 days. The students will be joined by 2,000 other students from around the country and a large group from India. Students will have astronaut training, complete a mock-shuttle mission, build and shoot off rockets and build robots and complete a mock Mars mission with the robots, among many other activities.
