Young women between 13 and 24 years old in Kaysville and Fruit Heights are invited to attend. Information on the competition will be available. For girls 13 to 16, the category will be for Miss Kaysville-Fruit Heights Outstanding Teen while 17 to 24-year olds are eligible for the title of Miss Kaysville-Fruit Heights which is a preliminary to Miss Utah and Miss America pageants.
The younger competition will include an interview and categories of talent, lifestyle and fitness, evening wear, onstage questioning and scholastic achievement. The older competition will include the same categories as the Miss America competition with an interview, talent, evening wear, swim wear and onstage questioning.
The winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship and a tuition scholarship to Weber State University. Additional scholarships are awarded to runners up. The winner of the younger competition will receive a $200 scholarship and go on to compete in Miss Utah’s Outstanding Teen pageant in October.
