WEST VALLEY — Shelbi Tyteca pitched a complete game, and the Viewmont Lady Vikings scored a pair of late runs as they rallied past the Spanish Fork Dons to get into the state 5A softball final.

Tyteca and teammate Cina Cummings scored in the bottom of the first inning to take the lead 2-0. Cummings scored from second base after Megan Peay reached base on a throwing error.

Tyteca walked and reached second base after Kallie Randall was thrown out on a fielders choice. She attempted to steal third base while Bailey Tyteca was in the batter’s box, but a throwing error led to Shelbi scoring.
