WOODS CROSS – As recent events around the nation and the world have shown, it’s never too early to be prepared in the event of a disaster.
The South Davis Preparedness Fair, to be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Wood Cross High School, will offer valuable tips and information to help residents of Davis County be prepared.
The Fair, which will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will include speakers, demonstrations and exhibits from vendors and public safety agencies. There will be hands-on activities to help highlight the importance of preparedness, tours of emergency vehicles, information on local CERT teams, and a kids corner activity.
The event is cosponsored by the Davis Clipper, the cities of Bountiful, Centerville, North Salt Lake, West Bountiful and Woods Cross, and by Chevron, Croft, Holly Frontier Corporation, Home Depot, Lakeview Hospital, and Silver Eagle Refining.
