KAYSVILLE – Kids of all ages got the chance to sample raspberries grown at the USU Botanical Center in Kaysville, during the Farmers Market on Aug. 7.
Ten varieties were available to taste-test, and those who tried them could vote by putting pennies in adjacent piggy banks.
Besides the raspberry survey, USU researchers were collecting opinions on peaches grown organically and non-organically.
The study is part of the weekly Farmers Market held at 875 S. 50 West each Thursday, from 5 p.m. to dusk.
The market also offers crafts, foods, garden produce and – a rare local treat – Aggie ice cream.
