Wendy Kay Blood Tidwell was called home to her Heavenly Father for the third and final time, Wednesday July 9, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She suffered cardiac arrest due to complications of dialysis.
Wendy was born Dec. 10, 1969, daughter to Mike and Kathleen Blood. She came into this world with multiple physical trials which she endured with grace, dignity and charm. She is an active member of the LDS Church and is a selfless example of our Savior’s teachings.
Wenn received two kidney transplants. She was an advocate for Organ Donation and as per her wish, in passing, continues to give through her own Organ Donation.
Wendy is artistic and creative. She loves animals and cared for many throughout her life. She enjoyed family activities, traveling, and was an avid UTE fan.
Wenn married Gary S. Tidwell on Oct. 5, 2000 and were sealed for eternity on March 28, 2014 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Randal Max Blood, Evan Todd Blood, and a sister, Rachel Lynn Blood.
She is survived by her husband; parents; one brother, Eric; and two sisters, Kristi and Rose.
A visitation will be held Monday, July 14, 2014 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at 11 a.m. in the Valley View Stake Center, 1589 E. Gentile, Layton. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
