ROY – Police say a Clearfield man was accused of raping a woman who was intoxicated during a party in June.
According to police, 24-year-old Christian Galvan entered a bedroom at the party where the 22-year-old victim had passed.
Police say that sometime later, the victim’s shorts and underwear were removed and that sexual intercourse took place.
Police say the victim claims she repeatedly begged Galvan to stop.
The victim reported the incident to police on June 23.
On Tuesday, July 8, Galvan was booked into the Weber County Jail on one count of first-degree felony rape and one count of first-degree felony forcible sodomy.
Police say Galvan claims the sex was consensual.
