HILL AFB — Col. Ronald E. Jolly, Sr., took command of the 75th Air Base Wing at Hill Air Force Base, in a formal change of command ceremony on Wednesday, July 2.
Jolly replaces Col. Kathryn L. Kolbe.
As commander, he is responsible to provide installation support for the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, two fighter wings and 61 other associate units, according to a press release from the base.
The commander oversees the work of 24,000 active duty, civilian and contractor personnel and has base-support responsibility for the operation of the Utah Test and Training Range, which covers 1,500 square miles.
Before being assigned to Hill AFB, where he has most recently been deputy commander for maintenance in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Jolly served at MacDill AFB in Florida.
