LAYTON – A man and a woman were found dead inside a Layton mobile home park on Monday.

The bodies were discovered inside a home at Quail Ridge Trailer Park, 935 E. 3000 North.

Layton Police said they did not expect foul play, but did not speculate on a cause of death. Layton Fire personnel also tested the home for carbon monoxide, and none was detected.

The deceased were identified as 47-year-old Larry Anderson and 51-year-old Shauna Anderson.

Police say they received a call from an employer who asked for a welfare check on one of their employees who had not shown up for work.

When officers responded to a trailer at the Quail Ridge Mobile Home Park, they discovered the deceased inside.

Police say investigators were awaiting autopsy and toxicology results to find out how the pair died.

UPDATE:

Police say autopsies on the remains of Shauna and Larry Anderson were performed on the morning of July 8.

According to police, those autopsies did not reveal any information that would confirm a cause of death.

Police say results of toxicology testing will not be known for several weeks or more.

The investigation is ongoing, but police said they were not looking for any additional persons of interest.
