On June 17, 2014 we lost a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Richard was born January 27, 1946 to Pearl Koenig and Darwin Leo Allgier. He graduated from South High School and served in the National Guard. On July 28,1967 he married Vivian Ditlevsen. They were sealed for time and all eternity on March 27, 1985. He worked for Ford Motor Co. And then became a machinist for UPRR. He worked there for 36 years. He was a board member of the Pacific Rail Credit Union.

He was a faithful member of the LDS Church. He served in various callings in his ward. When he married mom, he became an instant father to two girls. He could not have been a better Dad to them. On December 19, 1972 he was blessed with another daughter, Gina Lynn. They shared a special bond. Richard was very outgoing and made friends easily.
