Alfred Swainston Cordon was born in St. Anthony, Idaho, June 19, 1934, to Ralph Purl and Mabel Swainston Cordon. Alfred is the youngest of 10 children and was raised in Ashton, Idaho, on a dairy farm. He graduated from North Fremont High School in 1952 and served an LDS Southern States Mission, 1954-1956.

Shirlene Stastny is his wife of 52 years; they currently live in Kaysville. Alfred has three sons, Kenneth, Shane, and Derek, and three daughters, Shauna, Debra, and April. He is the proud grandfather of 33 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Alfred is a born salesman! Some early sales jobs were Skaggs Drug, Grand Central, and Mode-O-Day Dress Shops. He was district sales manager for Fullwell Motor Products for 14 years and Fleet Manager for Pioneer Dodge and Rick Warner Chrysler Plymouth. Being a senior companion for the past 12 years is his favorite job of all.
