BOUNTIFUL - Fourth, fifth and sixth graders from Davis County schools participated in the District Decathlon last week at Viewmont High.

More than 700 students who won competitions at their individual schools competed in events such as running, jumping, doing sit-ups and dribbling basketballs.

According to information provided by the district, the event is funded by the Davis Education Foundation and culminates a year of work in physical education classes.
