‘Shower Them with Love’ project underway

LAYTON - The annual “Shower Them With Love" project for moms and babies is underway at the Bank of Utah, including its Layton branch.

Donations will be accepted through May 2 of cash, diapers, clothes and baby items. The donations will then be delivered to a local charity, a bank press release said.

People wishing to participate may drop off donations at any Bank of Utah office or mortgage office. Items most in demand include diapers, new and clean, gently-used baby clothes, baby foods, except in glass jars, formula and bottles, baby blankets and infant over-the-counter cold medicine.

Also, baby laundry soap, baby lotion, powder and wipes, pajamas, socks, shoes and T-shirts, pacifiers and diaper bags, plus paper towels and toilet paper.
