BOUNTIFUL - A “Hot Jobs” scholarship being offered by the Davis Applied Technology College is paying up to 50 percent of tuition. It is available for up to 900 hours of class work for the first four courses in a particular career path at the school.
A Clipper story that ran in a special 2014 education guide on April 3 said the scholarship would pay 100 percent.
The Clipper apologizes for any misunderstanding crated by this error.
The scholarship can be used for 14 programs such as as dental and medical assisting, automotive, composites and more. Those applying must show need and meet attendance and progress requirements in each course for which they seek scholarship assistance.
