SALT LAKE CITY — Seven doctors from Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment will present a seminar, "Smoke and Mirrors: Fact vs. Fiction About Utah's Air Pollution," on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Salt Lake Main Library auditorium.

Davis County residents are invited to attend the free seminar that organizers say will dispel 12 of the most commonly repeated myths about the state's air pollution, according to a press release.

Public debate about Utah's air pollution is dominated by industry and government that are "disseminating misinformation about the sources, consequences, and regulations needed to address the problem," said Dr. Brian Moench, president of UPHE. "It's long overdue that Utah citizens hear not just the truth, but the whole story."

The event will be simulcast on KCPW radio (88.3 FM).
