KAYSVILLE - Police are following up on leads they have received on a suspect who robbed a Kaysville credit union on Saturday, but are still asking for the public’s help in locating the robber.

On Tuesday, Kaysville Police Sgt. Paul Thompson said they have had several tips, but haven’t been able to identify the suspect.

The robber entered the Golden West Credit Union at 131 W.200 North, shortly after 1 p.m., according to Kaysville Police Lt. Kenton Pies.

He handed the teller a note demanding money and was given an undisclosed amount of cash. He then left the credit union on foot.

He is described as a light-skin male in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, between 180 and 190 pounds. He was wearing glasses, a gray knit baseball cap, blue jeans and a black zip-up hoodie with a gray lining.

Pies said police canvassed the area near the credit union but could not determine if the robber had a car parked nearby. No one was injured in the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call Kaysville Police at 801-546-1131.
