In Education: WSU graduation ceremonies on Friday

OGDEN – Commencement ceremonies for 1,500 students graduating from Weber State University will take place Friday, Dec. 13 at the Dee Events Center.

Joné Law Koford, who graduated from WSU with a degree in psychology before earning her master’s degree from the University of Colorado, will give the keynote address. She will also receive an honorary doctorate of humanities at the ceremony.

Amber Price of Syracuse, who is earning a bachelor’s degree in communication, will be the student graduation speaker.

A program honoring parents, spouses and friends of graduates will begin at 9 a.m. in the Shepherd Union Ballroom A. The commencement ceremonies begin at 1 p.m. 

Shuttles will run throughout the day from the Stewart Library.
