BOUNTIFUL –   After a couple of decades without one, Bountiful again is home to a Greek restaurant.

The Bountiful Greek Cafe  is open at 353 S. Main Street.

The restaurant offers a variety of gyro plates and kabobs with a choice of lamb, chicken and shrimp.

The Greek burger comes with feta cheese, and is a combination of marinated beef, pork and lamb. Fries are hand-cut daily, said Becky Mauris, who co-owns the cafe with her husband Melvin.

The Layton couple also own another business in Bountiful and owned a Greek restaurant in South Ogden.

“We would drive around Bountiful and noticed there were no Greek restaurants,” Becky Mauris said.

The restaurant is open Monday-Saturday for lunch and dinner. For more information, call 801-294-4588.
