-- A 52-year-old Kaysville man was rescued from the Great Western Trail Saturday morning after his family reported him missing Friday night. Officials say the man last contacted his family about 5 p.m. on Friday, but Davis County Search and Rescue crews were unable to locate him. They resumed the search Saturday morning with the help of a medical helicopter. He was located about 10:30 a.m. The man also had to be rescued this spring from the same trail. Authorities say the trail is steep and hikers can become lost on it.
