‘Labor Dynamics’ Oct. 17 meet theme

LAYTON —  “Labor Dynamics in Davis County” is the Davis Chamber of Commerce’s October membership meeting theme.

Tyson Smith, regional economist for the Utah Department of Workforce Services will be the keynote speaker. The meeting is 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Castle, 930 W. Antelope Drive, Layton.

The topic is timely to help  chamber members “move to the next level,”  said Chamber President Jim Smith in information released by the chamber.

In his previous job, Tyson Smith, no relation to the chamber president, analyzed market research for the Zions Bank Consumer Price Index and Consumer Attitudes Index. He specialized in telecommunication and higher education sectors and graduated cum laude from Westminster College. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance.
