New foundation chief named

BOUNTIFUL — South Davis Community Hospital’s new executive foundation officer knows first-hand about running presidential campaigns and governor’s communications campaigns.

Lisa Roskelley was communications director and spokesperson for former Gov. Jon Huntsman, Jr. and participated in his 2012 presidential bid.

She is the first South Davis Community Hospital Foundation executive officer.

The hospital wants to increase the importance of its foundation, said South Davis Community Hospital CEO  David A. Bland in a hospital press release.

 Roskelley earned a bachehlor’s degree in communications and journalism from Weber State University and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Utah.

She serves on the Weber State University Alumni Association board of trustees. She, and her husband, Christian George own and operates a long-time steak house in Ogden.

South Davis Community Hospital is a nonprofit specialty care organizing providing highly skilled and post-acute care services. since 1977, the release said.
