LAYTON — Teachers in Davis School District learned about everything from iPads and social media to using Twitter and making assignments via web pages, at the Davis Technology Conference held last week.
Attendance doubled at this year’s conference, according to Roger Martin, Technology Support and Integration Director for Davis School District.
Approximately 550 teachers attended 46 break-out sessions at the annual conference, now in its fifth year.
The conference has two aims, said Martin. The first is to help teachers become comfortable with technologies now available for classrooms, the other is to help them integrate those technologies.
Teachers working with all grade levels were invited to the workshops.
