BOUNTIFUL — Motorist traveling through Davis County overnight may be slowed next week due to road striping projects in several cities.

In south Davis County,  Utah Department of Transportation crews will apply roadway striping on 500 South in Bountiful, between the Legacy Parkway and the I-15 interchange; on Redwood Road between I-215 and 500 South in Woods Cross;  and on Parrish Lane in Centerville. All work will be done between 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14 and 6 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14

Motorist should reduce speed and be prepared to stop at any time, according to a Utah Department of Transportation press release.

To avoid getting paint over-spray on vehicles, motorists are encouraged to stay behind the painting train.

The work is weather sensitive and may be rescheduled in the event of inadequate temperatures or inclement weather.

Motorists in north Davis County can expect the same work overnight on Aug. 11 on U.S. 89 between South Weber Drive and the Legacy Parkway/I-15 interchange in Farmington; and, on the Bernard Fisher Highway (SR 193), from I-15 to U.S. 89 between South Weber Drive and the Legacy Parkway/I-15 interchange in Farmington.
