BOUNTIFUL – “Positioning Davis County in the Face of 21st Century Demographic and Economic Challenges” will be discussed at the next Davis Chamber of Commerce meeting.

Ted Knowlton, deputy director of the Wasatch Front Regional Council, will address the group Thursday, Aug. 15, during the 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. session at the Wight House, 95 N. Main, Bountiful. 

Knowlton oversees long range planning, modeling and community development programs at the regional planning agency. He is an adjunct professor in the University of Utah’s College of Architecture and Planning and holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Portland State University. He has helped create many large-scale plans for Denver, Chicago, and Ventura County, Calif., plus various Utah projects, including the North Salt Lake general plan.
