CLEARFIELD – Utah-based menswear brand Dress Code has donated 500 clothing items to the Clearfield Job Corps Center.
“Many of our students come from low-income backgrounds and need additional support beyond the training we provide to successfully transition to the workforce,” said Jessica Joiner, center director, in a press release from the center. “We accept donations at our front gate at any time so it can be convenient for employers and community members making donations.”
The donation is possible partly due to volunteer Laurie Pedersen, who started the Clothesline on campus 10 years ago, Joiner said.
The Dress Code donations include complete suits, sport coats, pants, vests and dress shirts.
