Thank you for your recent coverage of the ongoing West Davis Corridor outrage. Yes, I did say outrage. After the toxic, smoggy winter we all just lived through, and through which our Governor repeatedly told us that the smog was mostly our own fault for driving our stinky cars to and from work, the fact that the state plans to move ahead with this project is nothing short of scandalous.

Governor Herbert has asked the citizens of Utah to voluntarily reduce driving, but then spends our tax dollars building new highways.  How insulting.  No new highways until we have a viable, credible plan in place for drastically improving our air quality.

Ingrid Griffee,

Salt Lake City
