KAYSVILLE — People living east of Main Street can expect to have their power shut off on Sunday, June 16, between midnight and 5 a.m. as power crews upgrade a 46,000-volt line at the main substation.

Residents west of Main Street won't be affected, Bruce Rigby, the city's power resource manager said.

The City needs to be aware of citizens who rely on oxygen or life-saving equipment so that during power outages such as this they can be contacted, according to the power department's website. If you know of anyone we need to be aware of or if you have questions, call Bruce at 801-546-1235.
