CENTERVILLE — The Roaring ’20s are coming to the stage in Centerville Junior High’s production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr.”

Musical theater teacher Angie Petty is directing the production, which will showcase the talents of 43 students. Choreography is under the direction of Sarah Harris.

“This is one of my favorite Broadway shows,” Petty said in a press release. “The music and story are just fabulous and the students here have really risen to the challenge. I have been amazed to see the work they have put into learning the music and the choreography.”

The performances will be held Wednesday through Friday, May 29 to 31, at the Davis Center for the Performing Arts (home of CenterPoint Legacy Theatre), 525 N. 400 West in Centerville.

Evening shows begin at 7 p.m. and an additional matinee starts at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Tickets can be purchased weekdays between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the lobby of Centerville Junior High, 625 S. Main, and at the door, 30 minutes before performances.

More information is available at 801-402-6100.
