FARMINGTON — Reading progress will be recognized at Davis School District’s 10th annual “Most Accomlished Reader” open house on Tuesday, May 14 in the Kendell building, 70 E. 100 North from 3 to 7 p.m.

The event is a celebration of progress made by students in district reading intervention programs, according to Virginia Riley, who oversees secondary curriculum for English and language arts.

Students from all grade levels who have shown increased growth using reading measures will be honored and receive $50 in books for summer reading, she said in a release.

The event is funded by the Davis Education Foundation, Davis Reads and Scholastic.
