KAYSVILLE — One local teen is stretching her imagination, Google-style.

Kaysville resident Kaylee Tanner is one of the finalists in this year’s Doodle 4 Google contest. Voting is open until May 10.

The theme of this year’s contest, which is open for students in grades K-12, is “My Best Day Ever.” Tanner, who is a finalist in the grades 10-12 category, decided she would want to go on safari.

“My best day ever will be when I visit the jungle and meet an elephant,” Tanner wrote as part of her contest entry. “Elephants are my favorite animal, and I’ve always wanted to see a real one in the wild.”

Prizes include a $30,000 scholarship and the chance to have her doodle featured on Google’s homepage for the day.

Vote online at google.com/doodle4google.
