Editor,

I, along with many others, have grave concerns about the implementation of Common Core in our schools, none the least of which is that our questions are not being answered by the “powers that be”.

A few of my concerns: Data mining and lack of privacy: (http://michellemalkin.com/2013/03/15/time-to-opt-out-of-creepy-fed-ed-data-mining-racket/), loss of local control of our children’s education, and what our children will actually be taught: (http://www.utahnsagainstcommoncore.com/jsd-teacher-afraid-to-speak-out-publicly/ ). How will this affect students’ mental and emotional health? http://www.earlylifepsych.com/common-core-note-to-the-community/ All we want are answers to our questions, and no one is willing to give them to us. Perhaps a little press would help?
