The Viewmont wrestling team, seeking its second consecutive state 5A title and sixth in 8 years, took an early lead after day one of the state tournament at UVU.

The Vikings garnered 88 points while the Davis Darts were in second with 66. Weber was in third at 63.5.

Viewmont has secured seven wrestlers in the semi-finals, while Davis has five. Below is a summary of wrestlers in the semi-finals.
