For their recently announced 2012 Summer Nights With the Stars, the council will be bringing Olivia Newton-John, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Roseanne Cash to serenade Davis County audiences. The women are only part of a lineup that also includes improv comedy, David Cassidy and even a little Shakespeare under the stars.
“When you’re working with artists and tour schedules, it gets really quite complicated putting everything together,” said Kirt Bateman, executive director of the Davis Arts Council. “But I really think it’s one of our best seasons ever.”
