CLEARFIELD —Four people were shot Saturday night at a party where police say there were at least 50 juveniles and adults.

Clearfield Police Lt. Adam Malan said police responded to reports of gunshots or fireworks at a home near 150 N. 1200 West about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.

When police arrived, several people were seen climbing fences of homes and leaving the area on foot and in vehicles.

Malan said officers found three people who had been shot, and a fourth victim outside, hiding. Three of the victims were taken by ambulance to the hospital, with injuries to the foot, back and throat. The fourth was grazed by a bullet and was treated at the scene. A fourth victim remains hospitalized in stable condition. Malan said their names are not being released at this time.

He said said the victims were struck by small caliber bullets during a fight outside the home. Police don't know if the victims were targeted or had been hit by stray bullets.

Police are asking for the public's help for information on the shooting. Those who have any knowledge of the shooting are asked to call Clearfield Police at 801-525-2806.
