Habitat sets groundbreaking

LAYTON -- Groundbreaking for Davis County's first Habitat for Humanity House in many years will be held Saturday, April 16 at 10 a.m. at 769 Cowley Drive (east of Staples), Layton. The public is invited. The family that will be occupying the home -- and doing "sweat equity building" to get into the home, will be there, along with Habitat volunteers and committee members. Habitat board members and Lynn Kelley, area executive -- all volunteers, will be on hand. Volunteer opportunities for area businesses and others will also be explained.
