Jim Shea to address Business Summit

LAYTON -- Some of the top business leaders and analysts in the state of Utah, joined by special guest Jim Shea, 2002 Olympic skeleton gold medalist, will speak at the 2004 Northern Utah Business and Economic Summit.
Scheduled for May 14 at the Weber State Davis Campus (2750 North University Drive) in Layton, the event is sponsored annually by the Davis Chamber of Commerce.
Other speakers will include Pollster Dan Jones, Weber Water Basin Water director Tage Flint, County commission chair Dannie McConkie, Hill Air Force Base representatives and state and local officials.
The summit will get under way at 7 a.m. and run through 3 p.m. The price for admission is $50 per person if paid prior to the event, or $60 at the door. Tuition includes breakfast, lunch and materials.
"Every business owner and manager in Utah is encouraged to attend and receive timely information on the pulse and business climate in Northern Utah," said Davis Chamber President and CEO Chris Dallin.
"The seminar will provide new information on the economy and how the future economy will affect business, education and government entities relating to the Utah business environment."
