BOUNTIFUL -- Jay Jenkins, the owner of Jay's American Car Care, knows how to throw a party, and from 11-4 p.m., Friday, May 18, he will be hosting the annual barbeque at ACC located at 620 South 500 West in Bountiful. "This is a tradition that began in 1998 and we're excited about this year's event," Jenkins said. "We'll have hot wings and hot dogs and drinks. Each year we thank our customers for their support and that's the case this year as well," Jenkins said. "We are also excited to have people come in and see the way we've expanded and meet some of the new people who are working for us."
Jenkins has expanded into the building located directly south of his shop. This has made it possible to expand the general repairs to one building while using one building for tires, wheel and IM/inspection.
He has also brought on some new employees.
"Doug Greene brings a great deal of experience to us," said Jenkins. "And Bob Fuller is someone who is great with customers, especially those who like to visit." In addition, ACC has added Dustin Danner and Josh Hammond.
"This Friday's event will be a way to allow people to come in and say hi, enjoy some food and give us all a chance to meet each other," he said.
