LAYTON -- Kaycee Carson, a South Dakota School of Mines and Technology student from Bountiful, Utah, was recently recognized for leadership skills during the seventh annual Leadership Recognition Reception. Carson is majoring in Civil Engineering at the School of Mines, an engineering and science university in Rapid City, S.D. During the reception, School of Mines President Dr. Charles Rich thanked the students for their dedication and commitment to the university. Student leaders from all facets of campus life were invited to the reception, organized by the Leadership Development Team.
