BOUNTIFUL -- A total of 10 local kids were named winners of the Intermountain Health Care Coloring Contest, sponsored by Intermountain Health Care. "The kids were judged by physicians and staff of the Intermountain Health Care Bountiful Campus, and winners got family passes to 'Discovery Gateway' at the Gateway Mall," said Bountiful InstaCare/KidsCare Clinical Manager Martha Petty. "The kids had to color a picture of a Life Flight Helicopter, and these kids were all creative and did things like use glitter and cotton balls for clouds. The pictures are now displayed at the clinic and the InstaCare/Kids Care Center."
The winners in the 3-5 year-old age group were Jorden Bennet for first place, Jessica Robinson for second and Ivy Cook for third. For ages 6-8 years, first place went to both Caden Gibb and Jacob McKee, second went to Dallen Bennett and third went to Roxanne Fitches.
For ages 9-12, Zachary McKee won first place, Ashland Griffiths won second and Keaton Wall won third.
"We're proud of everyone who participated, and we got a pretty nice response and will do it again next year," Petty said.
