KAYSVILLE -- Due to construction on the new 200 North overpass, a power outage will be necessary, city officials indicate. The outage will run from Friday night, midnight, to Saturday at 6 a.m. A power outage was also held the same time last week.

The outage will be needed to accommodate the safe installation of several drains. Those drains are 100 feet tall and the machine that pounds them into the ground will be next to the 45,000-volt line that provides power to most of the city.

The outage will affect the same residents as the previous outages on Sept. 9 and Sept. 16.
