CENTERVILLE -- The Viewmont Dance Department is putting on its first annual silent auction. This is part of a service project to benefit The Health and Human Rights Project and the VHS Dance Department. Students from the dance company are currently teaching dance workshops with the children of the Liberian refugee community of Salt Lake.

The auction will take place on Thursday, March 2 in the Viewmont High School commons area. Items will be donated from at least 50 different businesses. Open bidding is from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.

Dress is semi-casual, and the ticket cost is $10 per person.

The cost includes dinner, a beverage, dessert and bidding rights.
