SALT LAKE CITY -- One team has to be ready to play by breakfast, while the other by bedtime; either way the goal is the same: make it to the second round of the girls state basketball playoffs. The 4-A bracketing has Woods Cross, the No. 2 seed out of Region 5, playing their opening game against Provo at 9:30 a.m. at Salt Lake Community College.

Their Region 5 counterparts, Bountiful, have their tip-off at 9:10 p..m. Tuesday evening against West.

The contrasting times pose similar challenges, since neither team's bodies will be used to it. If both can survive, the Wildcats will play at 6 p.m. Thursday while Bountiful will play at 4:10 p.m.
