Chamber businesses are listed in at least five local directories as a benefit of their membership. Have you used those listings to find the businesses that support the community and provide solid value and customer service? If not, you are ignoring more than 850 reputable Davis County businesses that are anxious to help you.

The Davis Chamber sponsors two Business Building luncheons each week. The first is every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at MacCool's Public House in Layton. The second is every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at El Matador restaurant in Bountiful. These events are open to any business professional. Each attendee has the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves and their business to the other attendees. Regular attendees then take turns giving the featured presentation (10 minutes) for the week. These informal events draw 20-24 businesses each week and allow ample time for personal networking. The only cost to attend is the lunch you order.

Take your pick: Membership luncheons, ribbon cutting ceremonies, business-after-hours gatherings, training seminars, community events like Northern Utah Business and Economic Summit, Leadership Institute, and Taste of the Town. The variety of events is endless, but every single one is designed to help you network with other business professionals and promote your organization to the public. Check the Chamber's events calendar for full details. Events listed in bold text are open to the public. Standard text listings are for Chamber members only.

We are confidant that once you have participated in some of the public benefits of the Davis Chamber, you will want to take full advantage of everything else we have to offer our members. Full Chamber participation requires a yearly membership and time investment, but the networking benefits are indisputable. Choose from Economic Development, Lakesiders, Legislative Affairs, Military Affairs, Transportation, and Women in Business committee participation to round out your networking options and to take a serious role in the development of our economy. The Chamber allows you to make long-term connections as you develop county wide activities and policies.

Call the Davis County Chamber at 801-593-2200 to discuss how we can help your business and YOU grow stronger and better connected.
