"They pulled out of the planning commission meeting to solidify some issues with their corporate offices," said Cory Snyder, Centerville's director of community development. "I'm sure we will see them on the agenda for the next planning commission in August."
Wal-Mart had planned to approach the planning commission with the final subdivision Wednesday, and then continue on to the city council in August, according to Centerville City Manager Steve Thacker.
Wal-Mart had hoped to start building by Oct. 1 of this year, but now it looks like those plans may be bumped back.
Wal-Mart is expected to open its doors sometime in fall of 2006.
