SOUTH DAVIS -- "Bah, humbug," is not in the vocabulary of the Soroptimist International Club of Bountiful. The service group will host its 31st Annual Christmas Home Tour, Saturday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Each year several homes are chosen and filled with Christmas decorating ideas, nativity displays and a shopper's boutique.

"Chances for Charity" raffle tickets will also be available for purchase. Winners will be drawn just before 4 p.m. Prizes this year include one of 17 burgeoning gift baskets plus two Christmas throws or wall hangings.

This year's charity event will feature five decorated homes: three in Bountiful, one in Centerville and one in Farmington.

Tour homes include:

-Michelle and Carl Rasmusen, 3925 Glade Hollow Way, Bountiful, decor by Robert McArthur

-Anna and Damon Kirchmeier, 3855 Brindlewood, Bountiful

-Jamie and Adrian Vande Merwe, 1926 E. Mueller Park Rd., Bountiful

-Donna and Gary Lund, 275 E. Balsam Dr., Centerville

-Jan and Carlos Litster, 647 S. 350 East, Farmington

The Vande Merwe home will sponsor the boutique items, gift baskets and "yummy Christmas goodies." The Litster home will feature more than 130 nativity sets from around the world, some several generations old.

Tours are $5 per person with proceeds going to Safe Harbor Domestic Violence Shelter, the Children's Justice Center, Davis County Food Banks, Youth Volunteer Awards, Tuition Assistance and many other worthy causes.

Patrons are also encouraged to bring a commercially canned or boxed item to contribute to the food bank. Donation boxes will be set out at each home.

Tickets are available at the homes and at the following businesses Advanced Therapeu- tic Massage, Bountiful Music, Cambridge House, Carr Stationery, Diane's of Bounti-ful, Heartland Paper, LACE by Louise, Jennifer Bassarear's State Farm Insurance, Lynn's Oak Shoppe, Pace's Dairy Ann, Rice & Strand, Robintino's and the Clipper office.
