On June 2, a local paper printed a story titled, "Deporting dad wreaks havoc." I suspect this story was printed to elicit sympathy not only for those referred to but for all in the U.S. illegally. However, a much better title would be, "Mother of family uses wisdom when illegal father is deported."
The father had received two deportation notices, one in1994 and one in1995. Finally ICE, apparently, has convinced him to leave. The mother, in her wisdom, although here legally and with her son, will return to Mexico with the father. Their family will be kept together and they probably have many relatives in Mexico.
When illegals are deported there is no need to break up families if they have them. Family members legally in the U.S. can accompany their deported family member back to their country of origin. There is no restriction to prevent all of them from going. Families returning to their country of origin may also be an asset to that country.
Government leaders have used little wisdom for many years. When amnesty was granted to millions in 1986, government totally failed to enforce the immigration laws of that time. Now some 20 years later, America has been overrun with 16-20 million invaders, and politicians want to do the same thing again. What is the definition of idiocy?
