Experts in genealogy will combine to teach a myriad of classes at the beginning of the new year at the 2007 Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, hosted by the Utah Genealogical Association. As a part of this event, evening classes will be offered to the public at the Radisson Hotel, less than two blocks from the downtown Family History Library, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Jan. 9-11.

Instructors include re-nowned authors, lecturers, and researchers, such as John Philip Colletta, Thomas Jones, and Patricia Law Hatcher, as well as Rich Running, Susan Easton Black, Elissa Powell, Kory Meyerink, Alan Mann, and a representative from the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation.

Each evening class will cost $10 (with exception of the first session on Tuesday,"Opening the Granite Mountain Records Vault", which is free). Participants may view the available classes and register on the Internet at www.infouga.org. They may also register by mail (with a brochure) or at the door.
